Last week I held a beta giveaway here on AJFC! The giveaway ended Saturday night, with the intent that I would announce the winners of it on Sunday... Well, my sister and niece came over on Sunday, so I didn't have time to post then, and on Monday things got a bit hectic, so I decided I'd just post Thursday, which is today!

This week's chibi is postponed while a little hiccup is ironed out -- Zazzip, in your comment requesting a chibi, you wanted to be drawn wearing the outfit of Snickety Poshtoes (a winter-themed Pig).



Trouble is, when I looked you up on AJ today, you didn't own a Pig, or an animal named Snickety Poshtoes! Oops!

Could you please leave a comment specifying another animal you'd like to wear the outfit of, or perhaps stating that Snickety Poshtoes is back and recreated if you'd prefer to do that? If so, I can have your chibi drawn for next week's post! 😊

I know, I know, it's not related to AJ. The fact is, I just couldn't seem to think of anything else to draw in the little while before my post was due, and since I've seen lots of authors post their Masterpieces on here, I'm hoping you'll enjoy this work of mine! (Also, my mom saw it and asked if I was going to make a blog post about it. I took it as a hint.)



It all started when I listened to the audiobook of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. It's nothing like the movie. ...It's actually better. And that's saying a whole lot. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes adventure stories and cars that are alive (and have a bit of an attitude).

Well.

The audiobook was read by one Mr. David Tennant, one of my favorite actors ever, not to mention the Doctor on the TV show Doctor Who! (My obsession! 😆 *sings* Dooo Weeeee Oooooooooo....)

My fiction-inundated brain being what it is, I couldn't help but notice some definite similarities between our fine-four-fendered-friend Chitty and another living vehicle with a bit of an attitude -- the TARDIS.

Taking inspiration from the audiobook cover (yeah, it's written by that Ian Fleming. 😁 "Bond. James Bond." It was his only children's story. Trivia of the day!) --



-- this crossover was born!

Summer Carnival Challenges

Welll howdy there folks!
Today I'm gonna be talking like a hardcore southern because I love how they talk so much, and I feel like it, and it's hotter then the scorch outside XD (I suddenly like saying that)


Today for yall's entertainment Ima go on down to the Summer Carnival and make up me own challenge for each little ol' game

Now for the dart game, instead of hittin tin can's off of a fence, Ima use my trusty crossbow, and get me some phantoms.

Dart game 1: Hit all the golden phantoms! (one attempt) 

Swivel chairs and pine-cones!

Dart Game 2: Get all the letters to spell Phantom! (one attempt)

Well looky there! I completed both of them challenges 

And I was kinda close to beating my high score! 

Now I'm gonna dunk me some phantoms!

Dunk a Phantom: Dunk 5 phantoms in a row (2 attempts)

Ok first I'm going to say I am super bad at this so. here we go!

I did worse at that game then I am at plukin chickens! 

What are everyone else's high-score for this game? I'm really interested XD 

Phantom Ball: Get 5 balls in the golden holes 5 times without missing. (3 attempts)

Well darn it, I got 4 in a row.

Oooo I'm gonna get a cavity and get one of them gold tooths! 

Candy Catcher: Play 5 games without catching one phantom (2 attempts)

First game:

First round: clear! 

Second Round:I FAILED!

Second game: 

First round: Failed ... 

Note to self, do not listen to TMR soundtrack rescue, while playing this game, when your trying not to catch phantoms  

Also guy's I'm just going to say it, at first glace, I thought this was a saw

Wow, when was the last time I did an Animal Jam post on here? *Looks*

Looks like it was exactly a month ago yesterday. XDD

To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of doing Animal Jam posts anymore. I just really believe that it's possible that God could use this blog to bring people to Him, so I really rather post about Christian topics.

So, as you may or may not know, last month I held the annual AJFC story contest! Only Housemom322 and Housemom418 entered the contest, so I decided they would both win. Their prize was to write a guest post on AJFC! (You can read Housemom322's post here, and Housemom418's post here.)

I've been their friend for about a year now, and over that period of time, I realized how they truly are very Godly girls. Because of that, I decided I wanted to make them authors on here.

Not exactly authors posting every week, but authors that will post if one of the weekly posting authors cannot. So, I'm going out of town in June, so Housemom418 is going to cover my post on here June 21st, and her sister Housemom322 is going to cover my post on June 24th!

So, to all of the weekly posting authors, if you cannot post one week, please tell me at least three days in advance, and I will get with one of the Housemom sisters to have them cover your post. If you just find out day-of that you can't post, I will post for you.
